Since 1992, Job Placement Services, Inc. has provided vocational rehabilitation services, work experiences, and academic training opportunities for adults with disabilities in southern Maine and public school students in need of special services. JPS is committed to developing innovative programs born of efforts to provide hope, options and bridge the gaps that individuals all to often fall through.

The Saco Island School is certified by the Department of Education as a Private School to serve as an alternative to public high school for students at risk.
